Outage on Lamoille Summit Salt Lake Channels

Earlier today we experienced outage requiring equipment being reset. If you are still experiencing outage, please use our Report an outage form. This is monitored directly by technician.

Grindstone Channels will experience intermittent short outages Wed. Feb. 11th, 2026 due powerline work being performed on the site. Work should be completed by 2PM. Thank you.

Update Monday Feb. 9th 6:45PM the transition and testing on new Reno Fiber Circuit is complete giving us multiple rerouting paths. If we lose one circuit it takes 3 seconds to transfer to backup. This should take away the huge amount of failures. Thank you for bearing with this endeavor to provide reliable service.

Outage Reminder – Final configuration will occur with our technician at the Reno Switch Data Center Monday Feb. 9th between 12PM and 4PM and we may experience some outages during that day again. Please bear with us will these changes occur and the new Fiber circuit reliability 99 percent or better. Thank you

Reno Channel Outage Thursday 2/5/26 7:30am due to fiber cut. The District has been working on a new automatic re-routing redundant Fiber Circuit through major carriers that will be activated this Friday. Final configuration will occur with our technician at the Reno Switch Data Center Monday Feb. 9th and we may experience some outages during that day again.
