Reminder that Broadcast Signal Reception may be affected during Snow and Rain storms. Typically the further you are from the Broadcast site like Lamoille Summit, Grindstone Mt. or Peavy Hill above Wells, or Ryndon, the harder it is for signal to get through.

Viewers of KNSN-TV (Nevada Sports Net) virtual channel 21 from Grindstone MT. We are investigating why KRXI in Reno is showing program guide but no video. We only Rebroadcast what we receive from the carriers from Reno and Salt Lake. We will update when we have a response.

Update Friday Dec 12th 1:30pm I met with the Elko Television Board and they approved a new fiber connection with large carriers with Immediate rerouting of signal to stop these outages. We have requested immediate change with Switch Data center in Reno. With this said the current carrier splicing team have been replaced with major carrier splicing crews. Our apologies but the existing circuit and carrier is being replaced hopefully in the next 24 hours.

Reno channels are still currently down as of 7:40am 12/11/2025.

They have located the cut and have fiber optic splicing crew on site as of 6am this morning.

Reno Channels loss 11PM Wednesday night. We are requesting restoration and update when it will be fixed. Hopefully be able to upgrade fiber circuit in the next 2 weeks to go through multiple carriers to avoid these type of signal loss,

Reno Channel Outage due to Switch Fiber failure from Reno. Sorry for the delayed post as I was travelling all day today. They did not give us heads up and this is not acceptable. Unfortunately I was notified it will not be restored until Saturday morning. I did post an update on Facebook about 7PM. I apologize for the delay in reporting and I did receive several email notifications from Toni and Yvoone. Thank for filling out the form for outages. Thanks Ken.

There has been no outages to specifically report in the last 2 months and we do not report specifically unless a known outage occurs.

Intermittent Signal Problem

A TV viewer in Spring Creek reported that Reno/SLC Channels were intermittent. We had our technician check systems and it appears there was Data problems on our carriers data feed in Elko. Please keep us posted
